The Queue: Just a gnome around town

Every now and then you just have to pull on your best tabard, grab your favorite artifact appearance, and go for a stroll. Touch the grass, remind yourself that there are still flowers blooming — and look rad doing it. So of course I took a pre-Queue stroll around Dornogal to get my head in the game before coming in to answer your questions. Let’s Queue.

KALCHEUS ASKED:

Q4tQ What are your plans for ReLegion when it kicks off next week?

I’m going to roll a Blood Elf Demon Hunter. Time to sacrifice everything and get ready to defend Silvermoon. (And maybe other places, idk.)

I don’t know if I’ll seriously play it (I have never seriously played a Demon Hunter), but I am excited about the new void spec and am really feeling like I want to play a Blood Elf in Midnight. (But I have not personally been enjoying playing my Paladin, my original Blood Elf.) Remix looks like a faster, funner way to level than straight up questing, so I’m lining up to log in when the servers go live.

RED ASKED:

Q4Liz: if you could add a dungeon or zone to WoW where we visit some specific place in a different time period (could be past or future), what would you pick?

(asking because Hearthstone is adding Holy-infused Gelbin Mekkatorque from the future, and stuff.)

I’d like to see what pre-disaster Gnomeregan looked like. There’s Gnomish architecture and culture out there, but no real cities anymore. What was it like when they have their own non-irradiated city that you can live in. I think that would be a neat place to visit. (I just think it’s neat!)

I think I’d like to see a lot of places that aren’t here anymore, or are different. Things from the future, well, we’ll get there eventually.

HIGH DENSITY WAFFLE ASKED:

Fitcheck what’s your current mog?

I am glad you asked, because I attempted make a transmog look based off the Kobold-themed Tabard of the Assembly. It’s blue with orange highlights and a neckerchief! But it also has lots of brown, leather tones with silver, metallic accents, plus a giant candle and cogwheel in the middle of the chest. (I’d say it was a tough match, but then there’s a screenshot of a not-me-gnome on the Wowhead page for the tabard who is absolutely rocking it to the point I’m kind of embarrassed to link it.) But there’s a fun interaction with tabards and chest pieces that have 3d elements, so I used one with a gold and blue accent (it’s TWW era even though it looks like it came from Shadowlands) and tossed on everything else I found in my transmog library in shades of blue. The result is something with at least six different shades of blue that don’t quite match, but somehow I think it works.

However, I’ve been wearing this for a while, and it feels like it’s time for a change. I need to think up something new before raid tonight. Maybe something to suit the holiday season? Hm.

MUSEDMOOSE ASKED:

Lots of games recently have added crossover cosmetics, like the Overwatch skins that are characters from other games. Would you like to see any of that in WoW? If so, what do you want to see cross over?

I want WoW to keep having its own vibe. The crossovers in other games are neat, but everything in WoW is distinctly WoW, and I like it that way.

That’s all for now everybody. Take care of yourselves, tell your dog I said hi, and I’ll see you in the comments section.
