The Queue: I’m simultaneously excited for and terrified of player housing

I have spent a lot of time building houses, settlements, spaceships and other home bases in various games, and so far, everything I’m hearing about player housing has me terrified of what World of Warcraft is going to look like for me going forward.
I can foresee a lot of killing people for specific pieces of furniture.
Q4tQ Does it ruin your ReLegion immersion to the see the post-Antorus red star in the sky?
No.
Longer answer: I’m at the point in my life where I simply play a game and don’t really worry too much about things like anachronistic stars popping up before they are causally manifested.

You can smell me? I’m terribly sorry. Admittedly, I had to go out and get my COVID and Influenza vaccinations yesterday, so I showered twice, but I still feel terrible that you can actually smell me right now.
I just woke up, I doubt I smell like a daisy right now. I just hope I don’t smell like Undercity probably did.

The channel I subscribed to over two years ago because they were making pretty fun WoW content, actually made WoW content for the first time in two years.
The video is over 3 hours long though…
Put it on in the background while you’re doing something else and just let yourself absorb it passively. If there’s anything that smacks your subconscious and forces you to listen to it more directly, you’ll know it resonates with you.
Q4tQ As a companion question to Red’s question about books, how often do you replay games?
At present I am playing or have recently played:
- Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous
- Baldur’s Gate 3
- Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
- Cyberpunk 2077
- Fallout 4
- The Outer Worlds
- Diablo 4
- World of Warcraft
These are all replays. Even Doom The Dark Ages, a fairly new game, I started playing again a month or so after it came out.
Q4TQ: Is playing the Alliance and the Horde the same game experience nowadays?
I honestly haven’t played my Horde toons in a long time. Maybe I’ll give it a try again this expansion, see how I like it.
A PSA for Legion Remix and the Artifact Weapon acquisition quests.
If you’re having trouble getting to where the Artifact Weapon quest is telling you to go, because you took the portals from the tower in Dalaran, and are finding that as soon as you try to fly off the game starts warning you about leaving the timeline, you need to check for one of two things. Either you’ll have been given a scroll to teleport directly to the Scenario location (eg Holy Paladins have to go to Tirisfal), or there’s a mount you have to interact with nearby to the quest npc which will take you straight there. (such as for the step in the Prot Paladin quest line where you have to investigate the graves out on Shield Hill in Northrend)
The game doesn’t always make these obvious, and the NPCs will tell you to take the portal. There are some cases where you still should do that (such as the initial step in the Holy Paladin Weapon Quest), but in most cases, you need to ignore it and check for the alternate travel arrangements.
I felt like this could use a post directly in the Queue for people who have been wondering.
