The Queue: Oh what a… Thursday?

I don’t know exactly how this happened, but it’s Thursday now, and it’s time for another Queue. How did I get here? Where did I come from? I don’t know, but let’s get to it.

Never say never in my opinion. Classes can change, sometimes drastically, into things you might love or hate. And the things you might love today you might be done with five years from now and be ready for something completely different.

That said, I’ve never managed to click with rogues, despite having played a couple to max level over the years, and I can’t get into priests since I last actively played one in TBC.

But never say never. When I first started playing in vanilla, I never thought I’d spend most of my gaming career healing. I rolled the priest just to do something different, and fell in love with it.

I’d say I keep my mind open and play whatever seems fun when it seems fun. Everything is always in flux, and we’re just chasing what we enjoy.

I would say I don’t have a standard list exactly, but I do enjoy spooky season and tend to Muppets Haunted Mansion and Nightmare Before Christmas every year (at least once, because spookytime is any time you want, so you don’t have to wait until October). However my aunts are here for the next week or so, and they are big on marathoning spooky things for spooky season, so we are currently watching Midnight Mass, which I haven’t seen before. (Though I watched Hill House and Bly Manor.) We might binge-watch through the rest of it tonight, or definitely tomorrow.

Personally, my favorite spooky movie is The Haunting (1963) or Shirley Jackson’s original book The Haunting (1959). But I don’t revisit them every year.

So let’s keep this thread going, new Queue: what are you watching for spooky season?

It’s hard to say whether I’m more excited for Critical Role Campaign 4 or the Mighty Nein series. (Certainly I’ll only be able to watch one of them in full.) But both of them are pretty up there. The Mighty Nein was my favorite of the Critical Role campaigns, and I am hyped to revisit the team in animated form.

I try not to get too excited about things in advance (because it so often leads to disappointment), but I am at least at an 8 out of 10 on excitement for this, and I feel like some of you out here are excited with me!

I want to know how Addie Fizzlebog is doing these days. Maybe now that she’s a hunter in her own right, she has some ghostwriting work she could pass on to us? (I could definitely use the cash with how much I expect I’ll be spending on player housing decor.)

All of my favorite videos come back to one thing: Mars wants to take a nap, and the zookeepers want him to go inside.
