It’s only a few sleeps until Halloween!

It should always be on a Friday, it seems more fun that way. At the very least, it should always have a day off after it. Give everyone the chance to recover from the sugar crash. Who do I have to bribe to make that happen? I’ll do it, I’ll sacrifice some of my candy if that’s what it takes.

While I figure out the best mini chocolate bar to bribe someone with, it’s time for — The Queue!

If you do 100 Heroic World tier world quests, you get a purple version of that new armor set with the flaming cloak. It’s pretty cool and void-y, just in time for Midnight!

The ones that use a vehicle to try and break up the gameplay, but the vehicle doesn’t work quite right. So now you’re stuck in something that takes longer to kill things than you normally do. If you’re changing up the way I play, I want it to feel super good and overpowered. Let me lay waste to swarms of little bad guys with my new giant laser beam or something. Not a drawn-out rock’em sock’em robots kind of moment.

What doesn’t?! There’s usually something rattling around in there at all times. There isn’t one song in particular, but after hearing Pink Pony Club by Chapple Roan so many times during the Oilers’ Playoff run, it moved pretty far up the list.

As for your mashup idea, it works in theory, but the BPM is a little off. I bet you could spend a while tinkering on it and never quite get it perfectly, but I would applaud your efforts. Searching it led to a couple of accapella groups doing a combo, but that was more one song leading into the other, not a true mashup.

I hope that at least one of your movies that you recorded has Vincent Price in it. Could it really be a Halloween without him?

I’m going to try and watch one Alien movie and maybe Cabin in the Woods. Maybe something with some vampires in it.

I haven’t seen the second Arthonos. I’m going to be so confused! When will Hollywood learn to put recap videos in front of sequels so that we can remember what happened in the last one! I’m going to write a strongly worded letter to the king of Hollywood, who I believe is Sean Astin now.

So as a Canadian, I didn’t use to get them. In the last few years, they have been popping up more and more as stores realize that we can be sold to just as much. Which, fine, I guess.

This year, I haven’t seen anything for Black Friday in November. However! One store did do a mini Black Friday thing in front of Canadian Thanksgiving, and it was very odd. I thought part of the point of Black Friday was that it was near enough to the end of the fiscal year that most stores had covered their operating expenses and everything else they sold was profit. So why not have a big old sale? If you bump that forward by a month, though, surely the stores are not quite at that point, and the whole reason for the sale is a lie!

Capitalism lying to try to get us to buy more products? I don’t even want to entertain that as an idea! It’s unthinkable.

Well, maybe a little thinkable.

Today’s Bacardi was just interrupted in the middle of his afternoon bath. It’s ok though, he’s already had his morning and early afternoon baths, so since the sun is shining so nicely, he’ll probably be in a forgiving mood. Your loot is safe for another week.
