The dawn of a new year brings new items to the WoW Trading Post in January
When the sun rises at the turn of the new year in January, so too will the World of Warcraft Trading Post turn out some new stock! This Trading Post has some eye-catching items but overall is a little light. February is the Trading Post’s third birthday so we could see a little extra then… but before we get too ahead of ourselves, let’s see take a look at what you can get in the WoW Trading Post in January 2026.

January Trading Post mounts
Two mounts kick off the first Trading Post of the year, one new mount is the Savage Crimson Battle Turtle (which reminds me of Blastoise, but fiery) for 500 Trader’s Tender while the Brilliant Sunburst Peafowl from January 2025’s Trading Post returns at the same price of 750 Trader’s Tender.
January Trading Post transmog and items
Most of the items for sale in January are supposed to be Scarlet Crusade-themed (or, if you prefer, it could also pass for Hallowfall Arathi) with a bit of golden steampunk sprinkled in. A second item from the January 2025 Trading Post, the Golden Clockwork Attire ensemble, is back this month so if you didn’t get it last time, now is your chance to get it again.
The most abundant items on sale are the weapons and as usual, the designs are top notch and there are types available for everyone. Despite playing a Druid, I’ve bought every single bow on sale because Blizzard weapon designers and bows go together like lamb and tuna fish.
In the armor section, the Iron Chainkini and the Crimson Toque are probably the best looking items you can get from the small inventory available. Interestingly enough, the slippers aren’t present this month to pad the stock which hopefully is a sign that Blizzard has finally given up on those items and is instead focusing on other, better items in the future.
Here’s the month’s full rundown.

Another returning item from the January 2025 Trading Post is the battle pet Wind-Up Wuffi for 300 Trader’s Tender.
January Trading Post bonus reward
Completing the January Traveler’s Log objectives gets you the Ensemble: Vengeful Regalia of the Crusader. Usually there are cathedrals everywhere for those with eyes to see but that’s likely not the case in this incredible set. Even if you don’t buy anything else this month, it’s worth completing the objectives and grabbing this ensemble before Midnight.
