Hearthstone’s next miniset, Echoes of the Infinite, brings back every recent mechanic in the game
The fight for the timeways in Hearthstone rages on, and it’s time to take it to Murozond on the new miniset, Echoes of the Infinite. This time (pun intended), we’ve got a mishmash of recent mechanics being reshuffled into new and interesting ways to freshen up the experience: dual class cards, Rewind, Imbue, Dark Gifts, and even Quests are all showcased in brand-new ways!
As is expected with minisets at this point, we’re getting 38 brand-new cards, divided into 4 Legendaries, 1 Epic, 17 Rares, and 16 Commons. You can purchase the entire bundle in the in-game shop, earning you a total of 72 cards (one copy of each new Legendary and two copies of each of the 34 other cards). The bundle will cost you $15 or 2000 gold. There’s also an expensive all-golden version of this miniset that you can purchase for a whopping $70, or 10,000 gold. This version also includes an extra, a Diamond version of new card Endtime Murozond.
And as a reminder, If you don’t want to purchase the entire bundle at once, you’ll be able to get these new Echoes of the Infinite cards by opening normal Across the Timeways packs once the set is released. But getting 72 cards for just 2000 gold is a great deal that we strongly recommend.

New Dual Class combos, and recent mechanics return
The main idea of this new miniset seems to be revisiting recent mechanics that were introduced (or re-introduced) into the game. One such mechanic is Dual Class cards, which are getting reshuffled with never-seen-before combos, such as Mage + Warrior and Druid + Demon Hunter. Another is Quests, and we’re getting a brand-new one that can be used by both Hunter and Warlock!
This new Quest, Battle at the End Time, asks you to fill your hand, and then empty it. It rewards the powerful 5-mana, 8/8 Dragon Tick and Tock, which makes you draw cards until your hand is full with its Battlecry, and makes the opponent empty their hand with its Deathrattle.
Other revisited mechanics include Imbue, which is being added for Death Knight and Rogue, Dark Gifts, which are being introduced to Priest, Paladin, and Rogue, and Rewind, which is being given to Rogue. Rogue surely seems to be getting a lot with this miniset!

Morchie lets you double dip from your Rewind effects
Chromie’s evil nemesis, Morchie, has arrived in Hearthstone as a powerful 4-mana, 2/5 Legendary (apparently not a Dragon, surprisingly) with the following effect:
- Your Rewinds keep BOTH potential outcomes. Battlecry: Discover a Rewind card from any class.
Once Morchie is on the board, you don’t really get the choice to Rewind your cards anymore: instead, you get to double dip from the effect, getting the benefits of the two possible outcomes. Double the value!
Other cards that have been revealed so far include the Paladin weapon Hand of Infinity, which has INFINITE attack on the turn you play it — but can’t attack heroes. We’re on the wait for more card reveals over the next days, starting today.
Are you excited to revisit Hearthstone’s recent past in the near future?
