The Queue: Think about what Godzilla wants for you
I found this post on Reddit and frankly, it resonated with me.
When life is crazy, when insanity seems to dominate the world, stop and think. Is this the life Godzilla wants for you? Does Godzilla want you to endure unassisted or would he have you call to your allies, much as he does? Find your personal Rodan, your Mothra, even your Kong — sometimes a frenemy who respects you is better than a friend who doesn’t.
Always remember — Godzilla wants what’s best for you. Unless you’re the municipality of Tokyo, I guess. He’s really rough on that. Also, MusedMoose, I’m sorry I didn’t see you had posted this before I wrote the intro, but I’m pleased to see you understand Godzilla’s message.
I’m gonna have some of these Macross songs stuck in my head until the end of time. I can feel it
This isn’t music but it’s still pretty cool.
I wonder how things will work with the new transmog system and the Trial of Style. I have a bunch of saved sets based on the different themes, so will those go away, or will I need to buy X number of outfit slots to keep them? Will I have to overwrite an existing outfit slot to participate in the ToS?
I sincerely hope that Liz is right and the Trial of Style still removes Gold Cost for Transmog in some way.
I personally think Ban Lu is the coolest class mount (largely because it’s got a good balance of flash and simplicity)
I’m not a monk tho
I mean, Ban Lu chats with you and is your friend, while the Warrior class mount (the Bloodthirsty War Wyrm) hates you and has to be beaten into submission. Ironically, this makes me love the Bloodthirsty War Wyrm so so much.
Q4TQ: I’ve added a few more Steam Detective Fest games to my Wishlist, The Operator, Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars Reforged, L.A. Noire, Penelope Pendrick and the Art of Deceit, and Of the Devil (this one I’m still on the fence with). Has anyone played or heard anything about these games? My Wishlist is getting to long to buy them all. lol
I’ve played L.A. Noire and I have to say it’s a game that I think does an amazing job of making you utterly disenchanted and even disgusted with a game’s protagonist, if you can even call him that.
Cole Phelps is, quite frankly, a fascinating and unusual character for modern video games. I would definitely recommend the game, but I also think you should be warned that it can be a difficult game to play.
Q for the Rossi: in your opinion, to what extent does the “battle stance in Prot spec” game play equal the old “gladiator spec” from MoP? What would you change about it to make it better?
And, entirely unrelated: is a spear a two-handed dagger?
It’s not really that similar, but it works. Especially since there’s not a current threat modifier to either Defensive or Battle Stance, it comes down to DS as a stance for tanking harder content or spike damage, and BS works both as a DPS stance and a tanking stance when you’re not very worried about incoming damage and want more threat from damage output.
It’s a big change for earlier versions of the game that had both a threat and a DPS/incoming damage component linked to the stances.
Spears are usually one-handed weapons — they pair with shields. Only certain very large spears are used two handed, like the Macedonian Sarissa.
Q4tQ: My Druid has talked with lots of riding mounts. I’m not sure that people would want to know what their mounts are saying about them. Besides Ban Lu what other talking mounts would you like to see and what would you like have them say? I think it would be cool to see mounts talking to each other. Hey Pete hows your day going? Not to bad Thunderbolt and yours?
The Undermine Robo-Dinosaur mount.
So that’s the Queue for Thursday. Take care, everyone. Remember that Godzilla has a wonderful plan for your life.
