The Queue: It’s Morchie time!
My favorite part of Hearthstone’s latest miniset, Echoes of the Infinite, was when Morchie showed up, calmly said “IT’S MORCHIE TIME!!!” and Morchied all over those guys.
Welcome to The Queue, our daily Q&A column where the Infinite Dragons are infinite, therefore it’s always Morchie time.
I did not yet do the delve boss for this season. Is this the last week I can do it?
Yes, so if you want the mount skin reward from the Let Me Solo Her achievement for a solo Tier ?? difficulty kill, or the “Contract Killer” title from the Pruning the Princess achievement for a regular Tier ?? kill, you’d better get to it fast!
Q4tQ: Is anyone else concerned that there are Garrison Resources in the Outhouse?
WHy are people leaving resources in the loo??
Our garrisons are full of people who sleep on the job, who lose resources at random (that we have to fetch ourselves), or who need to be given a gentle smack in the head to start working again.
In other words, they’re a bunch of idiots.
So it’s not that unreasonable to imagine that one of those clowns wanted to poop real bad, and forgot that they were carrying those resources — so they just left them there by the outhouse right before departing in a hurry (because they heard their boss approaching).
Also, what even are “garrison resources” anyway? Could be anything. A handy piece of wood. A nice, round rock. A valuable coin. A gemstone. Maybe there are plenty of small objects among those “resources” that someone could just… misplace!
Have you achieved all of your TWW Goals? is there anything that you’re going to leave for later?
For the most part, yes, but the truth is that I didn’t have a ton of TWW goals. I kept up with my Delves and gearing up my main during the first two seasons, but I kinda “abandoned” the xpac on Season 3 because I took a mini-break from WoW, and when I came back, there was a lot of other stuff to do (beta, Remix, housing), so I just never bothered catching up.
But the stuff I chased, whether it was mounts or achievs or transmog, I did get, with just one exception: the All That Khaz achievement for the Freywold Spring campsite. That just feels like too much work for a single campsite. I want to do it, but it’s hard to find the motivation to finish so. Many. Sidequests. It’s a hefty ask.
In Remix, I got my Infinite Power to 999, which allowed me to top the DPS charts on quite a lot of Mythic raids by the end of my experience there, which was very nice, and I bought everything with bronze that I needed save for the chains, which required 10 Legion invasions that I just never felt like doing (even though I knew there were ways to cheese it). I knew that they were getting purchasable after Remix is over anyway!
All in all, I enjoyed this expansion. What they did with Delves allowed me to get a little of that “endgame” feeling that I hadn’t had in a long time, and Warbands (and account-wide stuff) made playing alts much less daunting, therefore considerably more enjoyable. I ended up making changes to my roster, focusing on a smaller number of characters, moving them all to the same server and ensuring I had at least one max level character of each race (since there’s new housing decor that requires a character of a specific race to purchase, so I want to be safe, and I was close enough to that status already anyway).
TL;DR: I might return to TWW later for All That Khaz. And I’m probably gonna buy the Legion Remix decor I didn’t get (at least the chains).
Q4tQ What do you plan to do first when the prepatch goes live next week?
Take one of my Void Elves (probably my main) to Magister Umbric in Dornogal so I can do the questline to unlock Void Elf Demon Hunters!
Q4TQ: How’s the mini-set treating you so far? I found a Cards Rogue list that added the imbue package but the data seems to say it’s worse than the version without it.
I’m *facing* a lot of Imbue Rogue. And I don’t really get why, it doesn’t seem that strong a deck (at all). I guess maybe people just like the novelty?
To be honest, I haven’t found a new deck that thrives with the miniset cards yet. But I haven’t really had much time to look: was kinda focused on the Brawl, and then yesterday was Nozdormu Day which also got completed with the Brawl (since it auto-adds Nozdormu to your deck), so I just kept playing my trusty Wild Imbue Mage in there. I’ll be back on ladder soon.
I tried Azshara Druid, but it’s just not my type of deck. But I can tell you that I recently got Broxigar, so I might start give Big DH a try soon. That one seems pretty strong.
Do you appreciate how slow January usually is for game releases? Are you happily chipping away at your backlog, or are you eagerly awaiting the next release or Nintendo Direct?
To be honest, I don’t usually pay much attention to when in a year games get released, but I do like that there’s a bit of a lull right now, because I’m pretty focused on WoW. I don’t have a big release that I wanna play in the near future, so it is, indeed, a perfect time to chip away at my backlog. I just haven’t started yet, but I might finish the DLC for Persona 3 and then tackle Octopath 0 relatively soon.
I’m *always* waiting for the next Nintendo Direct, or Sony State of Play, or Game Awards, or EVO, or whatever event is revealing games next. I just like those! But I’m not as gung-ho about planning my game release calendar like a lot of you are, lmao. I just play whatever I feel like playing next, without worrying too much about it!
I don’t even treat my backlog as a “backlog.” I know for a fact that there are a lot of games in there that I’m not gonna play. And that’s fine, I’ve made my peace with that fact. So no rush or worry here! I’d rather replay a game I know I’ll enjoy, if that’s what I feel like doing at the moment.

No time to explain: we need to fix the timeline!
This has been The Queue. Take care, friends, and have a good weekend!
