The Queue: Preparedness!

Cold? Me? Nah.

This is The Queue, our daily column where you ask us questions and we’re just gonna take a little nap. Just a lil one. It’s fine, we’re fine. No, it’s not that cold. Hand me my oodie, would you?

That does seem to be the consensus, that any character above level 10, or past their respective intro experience, will be able to participate in the prepatch events.

However, I’m always a little nervous to say “yes, absolutely, you should definitely plan around this happening.” They’ve changed their minds on things before. So, I’d go with a “probably, but you may want to look at Love is in the Air or Lunar Festival Elder farming just in case.”

I play a Beast Mastery Hunter and I don’t really raid or anything, so I give it a hearty “meh.” I haven’t noticed much difference, honestly. Even after going through the hassle of haphazardly redoing all my talents I’m a killing machine. My bear does seem slightly sturdier? Maybe? The rotation is a little different but not that much?

I realize this post has an Elle Woods-style “what, like it’s hard?” vibe about it, but then playing a Hunter is just kinda that vibe all the time.

I already bought (and ate half of) my winter storm supplies, made sure all my power banks are charged and ready, found the camping lanterns, and made sure we have all the uncompleted lego sets and playdoh ready to go in case the power goes out. Weirdly, the one thing I’m really concerned about is, if the power goes out I need to have some way to make sure the temp doesn’t drop too much for my son’s pet fish, but our water heater is gas so if all else fails I’ll do a 20% water change with slightly too warm water every hour or two.
