Ok I give up. What’s with the little voidy orbs floating around?
I asked this question yesterday in our fabulous Discord. You just get a handful of marl when you run into them, maybe a crest if you’re lucky.
I wasn’t sure if there was like, lore logic behind it beyond just “touch orb -> get treats,” but there doesn’t seem to be.
Q4tQ: what sort of thing is lacking from your current transmog options? Asking because my D4 barbarian really needs a helm that’s just a set of horns, maybe on some kind of headband. No head covering, no face covering. Just horns. I don’t think that’s too much to ask.
They’ve added a lot more femme options other than “well it’s a robe so that’s a dress so what more do you want” in recent years, but I’m greedy and want more. Specifically I would love some true tiaras, and a couple small fascinators and veils. There was a tiny top hat and birdcage veil from Gilneas once upon a time that I still want, for example. I would also love a few smaller wings, about the size of the tier 6 Priest shoulders, but in different texture types.
Also, I still hold out hope for Hunter tier which isn’t hideous. Yes, I understand that it’s the aesthetic for some, but it definitely is not for me.
Q4tQ: Have you considered doing the ground Midnight mount challenge while leveling any of your characters? It is pretty simple: no flying mount usage until you hit level 90. Some players are saying the zones feel built for ground mounts, and it has made them appreciate the looks and layout of the zones more.
I get the appeal, but I don’t really have the time, man. I still haven’t finished out all those side quests in any zone but Eversong Forest, and I really need to get on that to clear out my quest log. I totally get why people like this idea and tactic but it just isn’t for me.
Q4tQ Are you looking forward to the first two Midnight raids opening this week?
Meh.
I’m debating whether I want to just go rush through LFR on week 2 (because by then everyone will more or less know what they’re about), but I’ll get around to it eventually. I’m much more excited by the start of season 1 for Delves. I’m really enjoying Delving just now, but because even the pity rewards are capped til s1 begins, I haven’t done a ton of them.
