All the places to gather Finery Funds and all the fancy transmog to spend them on: A Silvermoon City fashion guide
After the first few weeks of Midnight, you may find yourself in desperate need of a bag cleanout — so what are these random coins called Finery Funds, what can they buy, and how can you acquire more? Let’s take a look at how to earn every single piece of the trendiest casual wear this season in Silvermoon.
The easiest way to earn your first Finery Funds is by climbing the renown ranks with any of Midnight’s four major factions: Silvermoon Court, Amani Tribe, Hara’ti, and The Singularity. After reaching rank 10, that faction’s quartermaster will present you with one coin on your next visit.
You can spend these coins at the Bazaar in the heart of Silvermoon City. Andra is a Blood Elf with the Thalassian Finery organization, and they have set up a cart to the northwest of the Sanctum of Light right next to the Catalyst. There are ten cosmetic outfits to choose from, and each ensemble will cost you one of your hard-earned Finery Funds.
There are two categories of Blood Elf-themed clothes for sale. The “garments” options are eight-piece sets that includes a tiara with a large gem, elegant shoulderpads, and a flowing robe. In contrast, the “vestments” selections feature a unique chest piece consisting of a dress shirt, colored neckerchief, corset/vest hybrid, and mechanically separate puffy sleeves with bicep buckles.

Both sets tack on theme-appropriate waist/legs/hands/feet items, and the garments ensemble throws in a cosmetic wrist as well. Each of the two cuts comes in five color schemes: traditional Silvermoon crimson, royal blue, white with purple accents, black with blood-red highlights, and Farstrider green.
After you’ve reached rank 10 with all four factions, you’ll still be six coins short of a full wardrobe. If you’re planning on showing up to Saltheril’s Soiree with a new look each week, you’ll need to complete these six achievements which award one Finery Funds token each:
- Loremaster of Midnight — For all four Midnight launch zones, complete the main story campaing as well as the side quests for the ‘sojourner achievements’ as well as Arator’s adventure buddy experience
- Midnight Delver II — Complete all 10 Midnight Delves on Tier 8 or higher as each role: Damage, Healer, and Tank
- Midnight Diplomat — Reach the highest renown level (20) with all four major factions
- Midnight Dungeoneer — Conquer all eight Midnight launch dungeons on Mythic or Mythic+ difficulty as each role: Damage, Healer, and Tank
- Midnight Pathfinder — The meta achievement for completing the Midnight campaign as well as fully exploring all four zones
- Thalassian Polymath — Max out five different Midnight professions with your Warband
