It’s a (kind of) quick Tuesday maintenance for World of Warcraft — all servers back online!
There’s some new content coming to World of Warcraft today with the launch of the March on Quel’Danas raid in Midnight and Phase 4: Escalation in Mists of Pandaria Classic. Both of these server types will be getting two hours of maintenance for this rollout, while the rest of the WoW realms have a quick hour of maintenance scheduled. But whatever version of WoW you play, servers aren’t scheduled to be offline too long.
Here’s the WoW maintenance schedule for Tuesday, March 31:
- Midnight: Offline from 7am – 9am pacific (10am – 12pm eastern)
- Mists of Pandaria Classic: Offline from 7am – 9am pacific (10am – 12pm eastern)
- WoW Classic (including Classic Era, Season of Discovery, and Hardcore realms): Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
- The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary realms: Offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)
All World of Warcraft servers are back online!
With the March on Quel’Danas launching in Midnight, the Race to World First is likely to wrap up soon. Due to the staggered raid release, we’ve had a bit of downtime in the race, because the top guilds cleared all available Mythic difficulty bosses on Thursday or Friday. Bosses in this raid tier have fallen quickly, and we don’t yet know how difficult the two bosses in March on Quel’Danas will be. Will the these bosses be pushovers after guilds have had extra time to gear up in Mythic? Or will they be a significant step up in difficulty? We’ll find out when the servers come back online.
In Mists, Phase 4 begins the rebellion against Garrosh, but doesn’t include Siege of Orgrimmar. Phase 5 is still several months away, but Classic progression servers are rapidly heading towards Warlords of Draenor, though Blizzard hasn’t yet announced the next expansion. (Still, we can assume it’s coming up next.) But for today, players can expect new story quests and new scenarios to play through in the lead up to the raid.
All WoW servers are now back online, with Mists and Midnight coming online a little earlier than scheduled. Hopefully I’ll see you in Azeroth soon!
