New Nixxiom machinima, Call of the Warrior
Most people know Nixxiom from his comedic machinima pieces, but every now and again he'll throw in a serious piece just to keep us all on our toes. And although he's got a wacky sense of humor, it's these serious pieces I really appreciate the most, because he's got a really deft, elegant hand for storytelling that absolutely shines in these moments.
World of Warcraft hotfixes for February 17
Today's round of patch 6.0.3 hotfixes all involve the Blackrock Foundry raid, so if your guild has been having issues with particular fights, you might want to look over the list and see if that's been addressed.
Patch 6.1 adds new colorblind support UI
Colorblind support was added to World of Warcraft all the way back in Cataclysm, but it's getting a big revamp in the way of a facelift and new, better controls in patch 6.1. A new Accessibility section has been added to the Interface menu, and players can access three different accessibility options from the new menu -- the Movepad, UI Colorblind Mode, and Colorblind Filters.
The Queue: Taking the fish out for a walk
I may not have upgraded the Pet Menagerie on my garrison, but unlocking it was a good idea as far as I'm concerned, just for the random pets deciding to take a stroll every now and again.
New machinima highlights the perils of flying in major cities
Sure, we can't fly in Draenor, we knew that going in to the latest expansion.
Player creates working gnomish mailbox
This has to be one of the coolest craft projects I've seen in a long, long time -- a full size, working version of a gnomish mailbox.
The Queue: It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood
Did you know that the various living quarters and buildings in the back of Shattrath are completely free of demonic influence before you hit level 100?
Role Play: Adventures in alternate universes
Warlords of Draenor brought to the table a lot of new story that all roleplayers can use and play with, but it also brought a pretty unique opportunity for both draenei and orc roleplayers. Because this expansion is taking place in an alternate universe version of Draenor, orc and draenei roleplayers now have the chance to play in a world of "what-if." What if your character is not from Azeroth, but in fact originated on this version of Draenor? What if you have two versions of the character you've been playing all along -- the Azeroth version, and the Draenor version? What if the two of them meet?
The Queue: And I said
I said hey -- what's going on?

You might be wondering why, for my inaugural Know Your Lore column here at Blizzard Watch, I'm covering Queen Azshara, of all things.
