Blizzard Watch Weekly: Diablo 4 gets an expansion, Hearthstone gets an expansion announcement, and WoW patch 11.0.5 gets a release date
The week's biggest Blizzard news is the semi-successful Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred launch, but we also have news of the next WoW patch and Hearthstone expansion — both of which I'm looking forward to.
The Queue is not haunted (maybe)
Today’s Queue is definitely not haunted. I’m going to go into this with positive, definitely not haunted vibes, so there will definitely not be any hauntings. Mhm. Definitely not.
So let’s get to the questions.
Today is a completely normal World of Warcraft maintenance day — servers back online!
In an unusual turn of events, today's World of Warcraft maintenance is scheduled to be its typical one-hour downtime.
Everything you need to know about Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred, now live!
While previous Diablo games have typically had a single expansion a year or two after the initial launch of the game, Diablo 4 promises annual expansions, the first of which is Vessel of Hatred.
The Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred launch has been delayed (and delayed), but servers are now online!
Diablo 4's first expansion, Vessel of Hatred, was due to launch today, October 7, at 4pm pacific alongside Season 6, but Adam Fletcher (otherwise known as PezRadar, Diablo's Global Director of Community) says the launch is delayed due to a "small technical issue." Frankly, it wouldn't be a Diablo 4 launch without some kind of technical problem, but we seem to be in for a fairly long downtime tonight.
The Queue: Friday is just that kind of Monday
Well, Quevians, it’s been a busy week, and though it’s coming to a close, we still have to survive Friday and then spend the weekend preparing for the Monday to come. Can we do it? Can we defeat another week? Only time will tell.
Today was going to be a short maintenance but after several extensions WoW servers are finally up!
Happy Tuesday everyone!
Race to World First Day 13: Echo and Method cross the finish line
And the Nerub'ar Palace World Second and World Third kills have been claimed by Echo and Method respectively.
Race to World First Day 12: Queen Ansurek dies!
The Race to World First for Nerub'ar Palace has come to a close: Team Liquid killed Queen Ansurek after 404 pulls.
Race to World First Day 11: How will guilds beat Queen Ansurek’s enrage?
Though the Mythic Queen Ansurek encounter got some nerfs yesterday, guilds in the Race to World First still have a long way to go.
