Blizzard Watch Weekly

This intro is the last thing I do before I hit the weekend, so it's usually about what I have planned, something cool going on, you get the idea.

Hamilton turns ten this week, and Lin-Manuel Miranda announced that it would be coming to theaters in September, so I'm having a Hamilicious week.

We're officially in back to school mode in our neck of the woods, which means that in addition to our regular activities, there's also a ton of additional orientation activities, plus summer wrap up parties, and shopping, and cleaning.

It started this week when Cory mentioned opera in his Queue, so of course I had to immediately go watch Diana Damrau sing the Queen of the Night aria -- and down the rabbit hole I went, listening to both analysis of the performance and even more opera I enjoy.

I usually write this intro about what's sort of going on in my life at any given time.

This week has been the most sedate so far this summer, and as such, it flew right by.

I have a nine year old son and a fully grown husband so of course this is their favorite collective holiday.
