Hello and happy Friday, Watchers.

The 2024 edition of the Game Awards are over and while some may be interested in debating whether Astro Bot deserved to be Game of the Year I'm already focused on all the future titles.

December has rapidly turned into the second most-exciting month for video game news (after June and all the shows that arrive with Summer Game Fest).

The Game Awards air this Thursday night and although we're still wincing at some of the snubs excitement is starting to build.

It's the first weekend of December, and we're quickly approaching Christmas -- so you know what that means: let's talk about video games!

Despite the fact that Larian Studios is done with Baldur's Gate 3 and has stated that they have no intention of producing DLC for the game (up to the point of starting DLC, then canceling it, because it wasn't really coming from the heart), they keep dropping entire patches that -- on top of the expected bugfixes and such -- keep adding features on par with what other games would provide in (non-free!) DLC.

This weekend it's Thanksgiving here in the United States, and thus we are stuffed with turkey and mashed potatoes plus all of the accoutrements -- yes, all of them.

It's cold outside - so why not sit back with a big mug of hot cocoa and relax with the Ninja Turtles, some dinosaurs, and the Velvet Room?
