Lore Watch Podcast: The Loa of Side Quests, and more Midnight lore
This week Joe and Eric were joined by Liz, and it was a great opportunity to begin discussing the abundance of Loa we've had in Midnight so far.
Tavern Watch Podcast: D&D 2024 is dead, long live D&D 5.5e
On this episode of the Tavern Watch Podcast, the team gets a win -- a win in naming things, it turns out, as Wizards of the Coast (in addition to finally announcing some products for 2026) also has started referring to the 2024 revision of D&D as "D&D 5.5e." Considering it ended up being more a balance update than the massive revolution in tabletop gaming that we were originally sold, we're all of the opinion this is for the better (and is easier to say, to boot).
Blizzard Watch Podcast: Our first impressions of WoW’s Midnight expansion
Midnight released last week, so this week our podcast crew shared their first impressions of the expansion.
Tavern Watch Plays Starfinder: Murder in Metal City, episode 3: When the answer isn’t the end
The team of adventurers-turned-detectives in our playthrough of Starfinder's Murder in Metal City has the body of Tier-99-Professor on their hands and the assumed murderer hot in their trail for getting too close -- but does anyone think they're really going to stop before they get answers about what happened?
Blizzard Watch Podcast: At the stroke of Midnight
Midnight, the latest expansion for World of Warcraft, released this week, so that's most of our discussion.
Lore Watch Podcast: From the Naaru and the Titans to WoW TTRPG, we answer your questions
We love answering your questions, especially when it lets us don our tinfoil hat.
Tavern Watch Plays Starfinder: Murder in Metal City, episode 2: Hot on the trail
With a lead in their hot little hands freshly pried from the storage of a hijacked murder-drone, our crew of Starfinder adventurers -- brought together first to meet their friend Tier-99-Professor, then by happenstance to investigate his murder -- dive into the back alleys and data storage centers of Striving to see if they can pin down any clues as to why someone would want the good Professor dead.
Blizzard Watch Podcast: Midnight waiting room
Midnight releases into early access later this week, and then full release next week, so for now the crew is pretty much just in waiting mode.
Lore Watch Podcast: Neuromancer: the novel and its far reaching sci-fi influence
This week our usual crew of Joe, Matt, and Eric was joined by Liz to discuss William Gibson's novel Neuromancer.
Tavern Watch Plays Starfinder: Murder in Metal City, episode 1: If you’re watching this, I’ve already shut down
A group of strangers gather in a dimly lit bar in the mechanical megalopolis of Striving at the behest of one Tier-99-Professor, who promised them some incredible news.
