Best ways to earn Renown each week in Midnight for transmog and other faction rewards
In World of Warcraft Midnight, completing the main story to earn reputation and increase your Renown with each of the new Midnight factions will only get you so far now that everything is Warband-wide. Midnight faction quartermasters have some worthwhile cosmetics and gear upgrades in some of their later tiers so if you want to advance as far as you can with one faction, or with all of them, you’ll need to devote your time to different gameplay activities each week in Midnight but the good news is there are quite a few repeatable sources of reputation you can get.
We’ve highlighted these sources and activities to make your grind a bit easier and have also flagged some other one-time sources you’ll want to get as well!

The obvious reputation sources
The obvious reputation sources in Midnight are bountiful delves and world quests (once you reach level 90) since these are repeatable. Completing zone sidequests also rewards you with one-time reputation rewards and completing each zones sidequests gets you the respective Sojourner achievement at the same time. Each week you can also pick up one of the meta weekly quests in Silvermoon City from Lady Liadrin, Halduron Brightwing, and Aethas Sunreaver. They offer different kinds of quests depending on your gameplay interests:
- Lady Liadrin — World quests, dungeons, zone events, delves
- Halduron Brightwing — Specific dungeons
- Aethas Sunreaver — PVP
Contracts
- Contract: The Silvermoon Court
- Contract: The Amani Tribe
- Contract: The Hara’ti
- Contract: The Singularity
Contracts are Inscription-based consumables that allow you to essentially soft-pledge yourself to any of the four Midnight factions. Once you do, your contract grants you an additional 10 reputation with that faction whenever you complete any world quest in any Midnight zone. The main drawback is that once you choose a faction’s contract, you’re locked in with them until the weekly reset and then you can choose either the same faction or a different one for that week.

Zone events, weekly quests, and activities
Each of the Midnight zones has its own zone event, rares, lore objects, and high points and completing or interacting will reward you with varying amounts of reputation for that zone’s factions. The repeatable activities to focus on are completing zone events and their weekly quest which rewards 2000 reputation and killing rare elites reward which gives you 50 reputation each, once per week. After that, they can be farmed for their rare item drops but you won’t be able to earn more reputation after the first weekly kill.
One-time interactive points to go after in each zone are the lore objects, each worth 250 reputation, and high points, worth 100 reputation.
Eversong Woods
Saltheril’s Soiree is a bit different from the other zone events because it includes the Silvermoon Court sub-factions. These sub-factions aren’t as intensive as the regular Renown tracks and require 500 reputation to advance in their tracks. You’ll primarily level them through the Favor of the Court weekly quest.
- Zone Event — Saltheril’s Soiree
- Quest: Fortify the Runestones
- 15 Rares — 750 Silvermoon Court reputation weekly
- 5 Lore Objects — 1000 total Silvermoon Court reputation
