Ghosts Of K’aresh

We're a few weeks into our time on K'aresh, so it's a good time to take a close look at the mounts that can be earned on the shattered planetoid before we Phase Dive off to our next adventure.

If you've phase-dived into the first few chapters of the story of World of Warcraft's patch 11.2, then you've earned some snazzy Ethereal-inspired threads.

The second week of our time on K'aresh is upon us, which means it's time for Season 3 of The War Within to begin in earnest -- including finally setting foot in Manaforge Omega, the home turf of city-sized void overlord Dimensius the All-Devouring.

We're a week into exploring the tattered purple remains of K'aresh, so naturally it's time to bring along your army of alts without having to repeat the same series of quests a dozen times in a row.

The War Within patch 11.2, Ghosts of K'aresh, is just days away, but we did get a last trickle of information about one the patch's new features, Ecological Succession.

WoW patch 11.2, Ghosts of K'aresh, will arrive soon -- August 5, in fact!

In patch 11.1, we got our first look at Blizzard's new plan for progressively rewarding continued raiding as well as making raids easier over time in the form of our first raid Renown track -- the Gallagio Loyalty Rewards Club.

It won't be that before patch 11.2 of The War Within is upon us, which means a new Mythic+ season, and Ghosts of K'aresh is coming with an interesting set of dungeons -- a few old returning favorites we haven't seen in a while, one brand new dungeon that comes with the patch, and then a small pool of The War Within's dungeons that the community voted on.

Almost as soon as we got word of the contents of patch 11.2, rumors began spreading among the playerbase due to a very interesting inclusion in the otherwise Ethereal-heavy Manaforge Omega raid: an optional boss fight against three Demon Hunters.

Yesterday's big news came in the form of a bonafide void-tinged cornucopia, as we learned that the next major content patch of The War Within will be the Ghosts of K'aresh update in patch 11.2.
