Mistweaver

Sitting in the audience of the opening ceremonies for BlizzCon 2011, I found myself absolutely mesmerized by the idea of the Monk class to be introduced in Mists of Pandaria.

At this point in Hellfire Citadel, many Mistweavers may find that they have a pretty decent amount of options in trinkets.

Monks have had their ups and downs since their introduction in Mists of Pandaria, but just where will they fit come patch 6.2?

For many, Mistweaver would simply be considered a class with a tank cooldown, a (rather strong) raid cooldown, and pretty decent throughput. However, this is completely ignoring the largest, most glaring strength of the Mistweaver, and chances are, it's because it throws a healer into an area that they probably are not very comfortable with -- being the melee DPS that happens to heal.

Patch 6.1 is coming tomorrow, and shortly after that a few important hotfixes for monk players.

Finally - it's here. For the last several months, Most monks (other than Mistweavers) have chosen to ignore 6.1 - until now. New changes were added seemingly at last minute - changes that even a mulling Mistweaver or a jaded Windwalker can be excited over.
