Patch 12.0

While there are a number of highly active Neighborhoods that have fully unlocked the Neighborhood Favor track already, one week into the first Endeavor cycle, Blizzard is speeding up Endeavor progression.

Endeavors, community-wide events in our Neighborhoods, are a key feature of Player Housing, but they only went live with the Midnight pre-patch.

The Midnight pre-patch marks the removal or sunsetting of many addons from World of Warcraft.

There's nothing Blizzard loves more than adding another currency to World of Warcraft, and housing is no exception: Community Coupons are a new Player Housing-specific currency that you'll find in the currency tab under the Miscellaneous category.

As a self-confessed Player Housing main now, I'm looking forward to the coming Neighborhood Endeavors feature due to released with the Midnight pre-patch.

Get ready to roll those Void Elf Demon Hunters, because the Midnight pre-patch launches on January 20, 2026, immediately after Legion Remix ends.

The Midnight pre-patch is almost upon us, and with it will come the long discussed "addon apocalypse," where changes to the back end have either made it impossible to maintain certain addons, or made the task of updating them too daunting for some developers to want to continue.

Soon, it will be time for World of Warcraft's Midnight expansion to launch, kicking off the second part of the Worldsoul Saga as baddie (in every sense of the word) Xal'atath invades Azeroth with an army of void creatures at her beck and call.
