The Queue: Sleepy Genn

Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!

Aw, look at poor ol’ Genn, he’s all tuckered out from doing his own quests and taking a little nap. I can’t imagine dozing off in that ornate and heavy coat is very comfortable — he must be super worn out.

I feel you, Genn.

COGLINE ASKED:

I know that the mobs in zones scale to your current level but do they scale to your ilevel as well?

Nope! Just your current level. In other words, once you’re set at level 110 and have some decent gear upgrades, things should be dying pretty quick.

DIAVO JINX ASKED:

HUGE question, no spoilers, but if we don’t know then lemme know who the appropriate WoW loremaster is to tweet: Where is AU Draenor’s Exodar?

Elsewhere. In our universe, Tempest Keep didn’t arrive on Draenor until after it had already shattered into Outland. It was the ship used by the Sha’tar — the group of naaru led by A’dal. So really, we have no idea where it is, or if it even exists in that AU at all.

MISTAH JAY ASKED:

Q4tQ: Considering the class halls are meant to be a Class thing and not a personal Garrison, should there be Cross-Faction communication in them?

I don’t think the fact that it’s a class-based area rather than a personal Garrison makes a bit of difference — cross-faction communication has never been a thing. However, I think it would be pretty cool, and add a little extra flavor. But I don’t see Blizzard going back on that particular rule, it’s been in the game pretty much since day one.

GEVAH ASKED:

Can anyone explain class troops? after 2 mission they are gone, is that how they work?

Yep! They’re a finite resource that will need to be replenished. The troops have hearts that indicate how tuckered-out they happen to be – when the hearts run out, they’ll wander off for a rest. Luckily, you can always grab more troops for more Order Resources.

ALPHA5099 ASKED:

Question: was there ever any discussion of Blizzard allowing us to hide one shoulder? I thought I remembered coming up, but maybe that was just a wishlist item from when the Wardrobe was announced?

Nope — you can hide your shoulders, or you can show them. There are some armor sets out there that have a one-shoulder design, but that’s the model for the armor, it’s not a transmog option.

LOTHARFOX ASKED:

Which are people taking for their first Order Hall upgrade: better chance at higher quality gear, or better success % on missions?

I went with better chance at those random gear upgrades — mission success is nice and all, but the gear is what is keeping me alive while I’m out there doing all those quests. I like not dying while I’m questing, better gear helps out with that.
