Patch 6.2 models and maps datamined

Not everything that’s coming with Patch 6.2 is available for player testing just yet, but the folks at Wowhead have already yanked plenty of models and maps out of the patch file for the test realm. That includes the new mounts that players can ride around in this patch, which are all purely ground-based, lending a little more weight to the current lack of flight on the test realm.  Of course, that’s all forgiven when you’re mounted in a mini-fel reaver stomping along the ground.

Among the non-boss models that have turned up are new models for the fel reaver and several of the demons which warlocks summon, including a gaunt and predatory version of the felhunter.  There’s also a new dreadlord model complete with glorious demon nipples, if that’s your thing.  No word on whether or not warlocks will get to enjoy these updated models for their pets, but there are a range of colors for the new imps, felhunters, felguards, doomguards, and infernals — a nice potential treat while we kill Archimonde for the second time.
