Heroes of the Storm patch notes for June 2: Johanna arrives

In the middle of the launch day festivities for Heroes of the Storm there aren’t any bug fixes or balancing changes in sight, just lots of exclusive goodies for everyone who wants to test their mettle in the week surrounding launch.

In today’s Heroes of the Storm patch notes, Johanna, Crusader of Zakarum, has entered the Nexus as a new hero available for play. She is a Warrior hailing from the Diablo series, with a lot of capability to throw opposing heroes around. Like most recent heroes, she is currently 15,000 gold to purchase, or $9.99 USD. Her bundle featuring the Centurion skin is also in the shop as of today’s patch.

Other updates to the shop today include a hefty discount on 30-day stimpacks plus the return of some seasonal bundles which left the shop long ago and new players might have missed. All these shop updates tie into the new Billie the Kid goat mount for making an in-game purchase. This new goat replaces the beta-only Wonder Billie, which is no longer obtainable.

There are lots of new cross-game rewards in World of Warcraft and Hearthstone featured in today’s patch notes, not all of which are currently functional in the other games as well. Even if you’re not as hyped for launch week as we are, it may still be worth it to play through a few matches for the rewards in other games.
