Player mods Heroes map with StarCraft theme

With the Diablo-themed Eternal Conflict content rolling out currently for Heroes of the Storm, players are getting all sorts of new heroes, skins, maps, and more from the world of Sanctuary for the next few months. After that, many players are hoping StarCraft will be the focus for future content. But Reddit user Tolkfan isn’t waiting. He went ahead and made his own StarCraft-themed Heroes map.

Using the SC2 mod editor, he reskinned the Blackheart’s Bay map currently in Heroes titling it Valerian’s Lab. As you can see in his video below, he was able to replace all the major points of the map with a StarCraft equivalent. He even went so far as to mock up a loading screen.

While you can download his file and load it into your SC2 editor, it isn’t actually playable. But it does give us a glimpse of what could be when the StarCraft universe gets the Eternal Conflict treatment in Heroes. No announcement has been made when or if that will happen, but if it does, it will likely be when StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void finally ships.
