Breakfast Topic: Who’s the best familiar face you’ve seen on Draenor?

I think one of the things I’ve really liked about Warlords of Draenor is that we’re on Draenor — it’s Outland, but not Outland at all. This means that a lot of the familiar faces I loved from Burning Crusade have shown up at one point or another, maybe a little different in appearance, but still eerily familiar to their old selves. And one of my absolute favorite additions to Tanaan Jungle was Fel Overseer Mudlump, who is apparently this world’s version of our dear old booterang-chucking pal Chief Overseer Mudlump from the Netherwing quest chain.

Not only do we get a reference to one of my all-time favorite quest chains in the game, he also drops, appropriately enough, a Spike-Toed Booterang for players to use as they see fit. There are plenty of other familiar faces, of course — some more famous than others. I have to say, seeing both Akama and Nobundo again, this time as draenei rather than Broken, was really strange, but at the same time kind of satisfying. It was nice to know that at least on this version of Draenor, they were both going to be all right.
