Breakfast Topic: When my cat played WoW

I like to tell this story from time to time because it’s cute. About how during one Karazhan run that I was healing on my Resto Shaman, I had to step away suddenly from my computer during a break, only for them to pull the boss before I returned. My cat Puck (she’s very cute) was in awe of all the swooshy and sparkly spell effects on my Shaman. She loved Earth Shield, Chain Heal, the works. So she’d gotten accustomed to sitting on my shoulder and watching me play.

With me out of the room, she leapt into action. Having no real idea of what was going on, not really aware that I had the MT targeted, she began pawing at my keyboard and she found the Chain Heal key. That happened to be bound right next to the Earth Shield key, and so, she kept alternating between them with her paw, enraptured with the light show, while I only came in just as the boss (Curator) finally died. I was complimented on my clutch healing.

It took a lot of willpower to admit it had been my cat. I regretted it as soon as they began asking if she could heal the rest of the instance.
