Breakfast Topic: I’m getting too old for this stuff

I’m seriously thinking of retiring my main. As a matter of fact, I don’t even know if he is my main anymore. It’s not that I hate the class, of course. The characters I’m playing now are mostly Warriors, with a spattering of DK and Shaman in there. And I expect any future characters I play will be Warriors as well.

It’s more like I feel that my main’s done his bit. A Draenei for years, the events of Warlords of Draenor have left me feeling like his story has reached its natural end, that he’s done everything he’d want to do. A survivor of the massacre of his people, he’s come full circle and helped prevent the Draenei of Draenor from going through what the Draenei of his timeline experienced. Now it seems like he might well retire. Sure, Azeroth needs saving. But it will always need saving. It feels like time to let him hang up his shield and get to enjoy the world he saved, for once. Maybe Draenor is some accident of the timeways, I don’t know, but for me it feels like he’d consider it home.

How about you guys? Ever switch mains just because it felt like you’d hit a good place for it?
