Breakfast Topic: Your favorite Overwatch hero

Now that we’ve all had a chance to check out Overwatch during the open beta let’s talk about what we enjoyed: namely, the heroes. After all, with a painful two weeks to wait before the game itself comes out, we’ve got plenty of time to chat about our favorites.

Personally, I found myself really enjoying Pharah. Her mobility was great and hitting people with rocket fire from mid-air was just so satisfying. While a gave Tracer a real try — darting around the map with her Blink and Recall abilities sounded super fun — I could never quite get the knack of them. (And I should probably avoid playing her in Heroes of the Storm, too, because of that.) Then, Mercy, whom I’d really been looking forward to, felt boring. Though she had some fun mobility options, just running around and healing or buffing damage didn’t do anything for me. Chances are Mercy is best when playing with a solid team — maybe a random group just doesn’t cut it.
