Azeroth Armory makes Doomhammer and a Warglaive reality
A new World of Warcraft expansion is right around the corner, which means Blizzard Entertainment finally allows master blacksmith Tony Swatton to see the light of day once again. In recent weeks, the Azeroth Armory has released videos for both a real life Doomhammer and Warglaive of Azzinoth.
Personally, I don’t care what Tony Swatton and his team are creating in their smithy. World of Warcraft weapons? Great! Forks and spoons? Still awesome. It is, however, endlessly amusing how Tony must always clarify he’s creating hollow versions of these Azerothian armaments, because each and every one of these monstrosities would otherwise weight somewhere between two and three hundred pounds. Given the sheer complexity of some of these weapons, however, Tony’s team does a brilliant job bringing them to life and, in some cases, improving on their design to make them both absurd and marginally functional.
