Breakfast Topic: Slow leveling through Legion

I know there are plenty of players out there who have already hit level 110. Heck, the world first 110 happened in less than six hours. But at level 103, I’m tackling the game a lot more slowly than some of you — and at this rate, I really have no idea when I’ll hit 110.

So what’s taking so long?

I suspect what kept me from hitting max, or getting close to it, on the first day was reading the quest text. I stopped and read every bit of dialog presented, where most who hit 110 right off the bat seemed to hit “accept” and then follow the quest arrows. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that; it’s just not my thing.) I’m leveling professions and doing profession quests. I’m also working on doing Broken Isles Pathfinder on my first run through so I don’t have to backtrack for things I missed later. That means getting lore, exploration, and reputation achievements in each zone as well as progressing through my class order campaign. Sure, I can’t finish it until I hit 110 and start doing World Quests, but I can be a good chunk of the way there.

And if that weren’t enough to do, I really want to do every Artifact quest on my main and my alts — the lore in all of them is just fascinating. But stopping to do Artifact quests really does slow you down.

As to level 110… I’ll get there eventually. But what about you all? Have you rushed to max level to check out World Quests and hit up Mythics? Are you still hopping around from alt to alt trying to decide which to play seriously? We all have our own playstyle, so what’s yours?
