Today is your first chance at your very own Khadgar head

For those of you who have unlocked World Quests, today is the first time since launch the Kirin Tor Emissary has reared its disembodied head. The reward for completing the Kirin Tor Emissary’s quests, the Kirin Tor Chest, has a chance of containing a Strange Humming Crystal. The Crystal begins a quest to slay enemies within Dalaran — the quest ultimately rewarding the Wonderous Wisdomball. What is this Wisdomball, you ask? Why, it’s Khadgar’s head … in non-combat pet form.

The current round of Kirin Tor objectives are located in Azsuna, Highmountain, Stormheim, and Suramar. They involve tasks outside the norm of kill everything. The quest in Azsuna, for example, requires you to navigate a circuit of floating anti-gravity balls to reach a hidden arcane relic. If you are lucky enough to get your hands on the Wisdomball within the Kirin Tor’s first week, don’t expect to use Khadgar’s face in pet battles: He’s strictly a non-combat pet. However, he does have a wonderful set of emotes, which you can preview on Wowhead.
