The Queue: Inexplicable
Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!
You guys…how exactly does a tree grow and blossom completely underground?
Q4TQ: Can Warlock’s still do the Green Fire questline?
Yes you can! The only difference is that you’ll no longer get the title “of the Black Harvest” for completing it. But the quests are still there, and you can still sling green fire around to your dark heart’s content.
Well if you go all the way back to the game’s launch in November of 2004, the next major raid after Molten Core — Blackwing Lair — wasn’t released until July of the following year. That’s eight months.
Usually when I look at the word tier, I assume people are talking raid tiers, because that’s where you get tier sets. Each raid that has a different tier set represents a new tier of raiding. I’m not sure how other people look at it — that’s just how I’ve always interpreted the phrase, since vanilla. But if I’ve been looking at it wrong all these years, by all means pipe up in the comments and correct me — or just let me know what y’all think “tier” means in regards to the game!
Q4tQ: with the 12% exp gain from the anniversary, who is going to go on an alt leveling extravaganza?
I tell you what, it’s certainly well timed — I just started leveling my Rogue. The buff is only for mob kills but I tend to kill a heck of a lot of stuff while I’m out questing, so it’s helpful enough.
So… Q4tQ: Do we already have some info on the extra hidden appearence for our artifacts? I know it’s from 7.2, but do we know where they drop, or what kind of gimmick we’re supposed to do to unlock them? And do we know if they’ll follow the same rules than the current hidden appearences unlocking (the dungeon/world quests/hks)?
Nope! The PTR hasn’t been out very long, so it’s probably going to be a little while before people untangle just how to unlock all the hidden goodies.
Q4tQ: Since female Vrykul can become Val’kyr, does that mean maybe female humans could become them as well? Assuming they’re proven worthy of course.
That’s the catch, though — you have to be proven “worthy.” Given that the Human race were originally vrykul, you’d think that’d be the case, right? But at the same time, humans became what they are because they were afflicted with the Curse of Flesh. They were viewed as inferior. Heck, if you go do the Alliance quests out in Howling Fjord you’ll see the history behind it all. Now I’m not saying the vrykul are going to judge a human as being somehow inferior, but…well, that whole Curse thing might be a big disadvantage towards that whole being “worthy” thing.
