Do you still play Diablo 2?

Sometimes I wonder just who’s still playing Diablo 3 — because while I’ve found it a tremendously fun game, the lack of new content has left me bored. I just can’t do same old same old forever, which is exactly why I tend to move away from WoW during those end of expansion lulls.

But it’s clear that not everyone shares my thinking. Not only have plenty of players kept up with Diablo 3, there are also people still playing Diablo 2. I loved Diablo 2 back in the day (Amazon all the way), but my attempts to go back and relive the game’s glory days have not gone well. The gameplay is dated to the point that I find it difficult to play. Playing WoW as much as I do, I’ve gotten used to being able to change camera angles, reset talent points, and hearth home whenever I want — classic Diablo just feels too inflexible. And yet people still play.

So, readers, today I’m asking you. Do you still play Diablo 2 or other classic Blizzard games? (Or other classic games in general?) And if so, how do you handle going back to this older mode of play?
