Ice Cream Citadel comes to Comic-Con

If there’s one thing the developers at Blizzard have in common, it’s a love of terrible puns. The promos for the latest Hearthstone expansion Knights of the Frozen Throne are no exception. Since the Lich King is involved, the scourge is well on its way to washing over the world as a swarm of dad jokes and destruction.

First, Arthas tried to apply for a job as a game developer. When that didn’t work out, he took over the esports franchise Tempo Storm, forcing them against their will to rename themselves to the groan-worthy Frozen Pwn. Now, he’s taken to try and trap some kids who just want a cold summer treat in his treacherous Ice Cream Citadel. It plays out how you might expect. Gordon Ramsey would be proud of the Lich King’s culinary hissy fit.

There’s a twist to take note of through the ridiculousness, though. If you’d like to visit a real-life Ice Cream Citadel they’re hosting one at San Diego Comic-Con. From July 20th through the 23rd, you can go get yourself a creepy bowl of literal death and name it Yorick, probably. It may just be some merchandise for sale, though. Either way, you may want to bring a jacket.
