Overwatch Season 6 ending soon

Involved in Overwatch competitive play? You should probably know that Season 6 is ending Saturday, October 28 at 5 pm PDT. Season 7 will follow in three days, on Halloween itself — Tuesday, October 31st at 5 pm PDT. If you’re out to get your placement matches done and you haven’t yet, you have until the weekend to get that done and claim your rewards.

You’ll be awarded Competitive Points based on the skill rating you achieve during the season as well. If you’re working on that, you’re almost out of time. The same goes for achieving top 500 placement in your region and platform for additional rewards. The extra player icon and animated spray for those placements will have to be earned by the cutoff date and time. With Season 7 starting three days after Season 6 ends, you’ll have a brief break from competitive play before the hunt starts again in earnest.

Good luck to all players still in the hunt to complete their matches or place, and you can read the complete post below for more details.
