What’s your blue sky dream change?

I have wanted Protection Warriors to get Titan’s Grip so they could tank with a 2h weapon and a shield forever. Back in Wrath of the Lich King, when I first got Titan’s Grip, I tanked as Fury just so I could do this. I ran all of the Northrend dungeons on the beta with Gorehowl and a giant shield, and I loved every second of it.

Do I expect this to ever happen? No. But if it did happen, and Prot Warriors became the 2h and shield tanks, I would be over the moon happy. It would be a massively positive change in my opinion, going a long way to differentiate Warriors from other tanks and melee DPS. I flat out want Warriors to go all in with 2h weapons. Leave 1h’s to other classes — we should use a 2h as Arms, two 2h’s as Fury, and a 2h and a shield as Protection. You want to talk class fantasy? That’s my clas fantasy and it has been since 2008.

I realize this isn’t even remotely likely, but that’s the whole point — every class has that one thing they really want and would love but don’t actually expect to get. Warlocks have wanted to tank since The Burning Crusade made them the go-to tanks for Leotheras’s demon form. Hunters want to dual wield pistols. I’m sure you can think of something you’d absolutely squeal with joy if it became real for your favorite class, and I’m also sure that you’re fully aware it’s not likely to happen.

I’d love for Shaman to get 2h maces and axes back. I’d be gibbering with excitement if Death Knights could tank in Frost and Unholy again. I straight up feel sad that there aren’t more fist weapons in the game and I don’t understand why Paladins can’t use them. I wish Rogues could use more weapons. None of this is going to happen. Now, please, share some of your dream changes — what would you most like to see that you know you never will?
