What would be on TV in Azeroth?
It’s a calm afternoon when all of a sudden Orgrimmar comes under attack! Children and Peons alike run in terror from Hogger, who has somehow grown several times larger than he was before. Orgrimmar’s only hope of rescue lies in the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers: Azeroth Force. With their matching robots, will they be able to combine in time to stop Hogger and save the city? Tune in later on the Goblin Broadcasting Channel to find out! Same Goblin time same Goblin place.
I can’t be the only one to see the potential for some amazing Azeroth-based television. Having five similarly sized, but slightly different robots just screams Power Rangers or Voltron to me. But this is just one show — obviously, the Goblin Broadcasting Channel needs to air more things. Let’s fill up a whole schedule with some great television!
Warsong Gulch and Arathi Basin would both make for some great sports content. With Spirit Healers, it’s not like anyone really dies anyway. All we’d have to do is build some stands for an audience and make sure that they have a good view of the roads — where all the most exciting action happens, if my battleground experience is like most. If your interests lie a little more in the realm of science fiction, there are the adventures of the Draenei ship Exodar, on a five-year mission to explore the Twisting Nether and seek out new worlds. There are plenty of Star Trek analogues already. Ethereals stand in really well for Ferengi, and the Burning Legion sounds pretty similar to the Borg collective. They assimilate and add distinct technologies and traits to their armies all the time.
Jumping from scripted to reality programming has Anduin as Azeroth’s most eligible Bachelor. Watch The Bachelor: Kul Tiras Thursdays just after nightfall. Will he be able to find love, or is he doomed to be brokenhearted? Follow along to see who he gives his rose to.
The possibilities are endless! Buddy cop show with Yrel and Jaina: greenlit! The Real Housewives of Stormwind: greenlit! Dungeons, Dalaran, and Deepholme: Cooking with Nomi is on its 19th season and doesn’t show any signs of stopping!
Go wild! What shows would you like to see on Azeroth’s TV waves? Who sent Hogger to destroy Orgrimmar? Will Yrel and Jaina ever solve the big case, the one that made Yrel want to join the detective squad in the first place?
