The Queue: Have fun storming the palace!
This is the Queue, which on patch day is really just the waiting room for the new content switch to get flipped. That’s fine, I know y’all are just excited to go in new water zones. Water zones are always the best, especially when they’re infested with sentient, magic-using, telepathic fish people.
Did something just touch your leg too? I’m sure it was nothing.
Q4tQ: Is Azshara’s palace really eternal or do you think we’ll knock most of it over at some point during the game? I feel like that title is just tempting fate. We all remember what happened to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
It’s pretty likely something will knock it down. No king rules forever, etc.
I think it’s probably more likely that N’Zoth does the deed, though. He’s rising back to power, and those tentacles aren’t just for catching shrimp. Whether we kill Azshara or merely wound her, N’Zoth is going to be rather unhappy about it. She was a perfectly good indentured lackey, and he can’t have someone else breaking his stuff like that.
The other possibility is that, like Jaina, she teleports out just when things get really dire, and brings down her palace around our ears. Though Azshara isn’t particularly impulsive I can definitely see her wrecking the whole thing at long last in a fit of pique. After all, we mortals are why she can never have anything nice.
Q4tQ: are Mechagnomes 50hz or 60hz?
I would guess from the general story setting of WoW, their default would be 50hz, since that’s the standard set in most of the real world. However, if you think gnomes, let alone mechagnomes, are going to leave well enough alone and not try to solder on pins until they reach power cycles unknown, you probably haven’t known very many gnomes.
However, now that you say that, I’m not sure I’ve seen a plug anywhere in WoW. And where on earth would you plug in a mechagnome?
Don’t answer that, this site is PG 13.
QftQ: Are any of the battle pets in the bundles that are currently on sale particularly good for pet battling?
Right now the bundles are relatively slim pickings — basically, a bunch of the Battle for Azeroth, Legion, and Warlords of Draenor digital perks, plus a cat bundle featuring Twilight and the Luminous Starseeker mount or a ??? bundle featuring the Alterac Brew Pup and Enchanted Fey Dragon.
Of these, the best is the Dread Hatchling from Warlords, but the reason it’s so good is that it’s basically they same as the readily available Gilnean Raven with the stats jiggled a little. There’s only one pet in each of the currently available bundles, but the expansion goodie bags are the same price as the stand-alone pets. If you’re going to buy a pet you may as well get a pet and a whole bunch of random other crap, too.
2BPE: Darkmoon Zeppelin vs. Darkmoon Tonk?
Gotta be the Zep. Decoy is just too dang strong. The Tonk does have its place, and before Howl Bomb was no longer with us Lock-On made a pretty decent combo of it, but that Decoy means the Zeppelin can pull off some real zany maneuvers.
