The Queue: High Comedy

This is The Queue, where you… well, we’re here to answer questions, provided you get around to asking them.

I was never motivated to get it and remain unmotivated. The whole rocket aspect doesn’t fit into my high fantasy setting all that well in general, and it definitely doesn’t fit my characters’ varied aesthetics. Plus, there really isn’t any transmog that matches that particular tint of cool-toned neon pink. There are some that sorta complement the pink if you squint your eyes and tilt your head — like the purple Judgement recolor, for instance — but none that truly match, and if I’m gonna be riding around a huge neon pink rocket you’d best believe I want to coordinate.

To be clear, I’m totally on board with the name change, just not the mount (literally).

As was (sort of) touched on in the previous answer, I usually like to sort of ‘assign’ mounts to my various characters based on their aesthetic and vibes. My Blood Elf Hunter usually favors mounts which are just animals, usually with very little in the way of additional frills or mysticism. She’d go for the Sarge mount, but not the Squeakers one, for instance. By contrast, my Gnome Monk uses Squeakers almost exclusively — it’s a great match to both her race and class, and it matches a whole lot of her tier transmog options.

That said, if I have a rare mount that fits a character, I do tend to work that heavily into their rotation. My Undead Priest uses Invincible really frequently, because she thinks anything that’s undead deserves a second chance after their untimely demise.

Considering the current upheaval with the company as a whole I’m guessing mid-March for 9.2, but honestly if you told me it was dropping next week or in April I’d think either seems plausible (though obviously April wouldn’t be ideal). But yeah, at this point I’d say March is safe money, if you’re the type to place bets.
