What type of world-first race would you want to compete in?

The world-first Mythic Raid race is still going on. And while it captures the attention of many, there are only a select few that have a chance to compete at such a coveted competition. Not everyone can even complete a Mythic raid while it’s current content. But this first kill of the Jailer, or whichever end boss the new raid holds, is always a prestige that the few compete for.

There was a time when a Feat of Strength achievement could be awarded for the Realm First to the new level cap, or if not the first, at least the first of each class. Even players who couldn’t compete in Heroic- or Mythic-level raiding could try their hand at hardcore leveling for those achievements before tbeir removal. A shame, as leveling, and the racing to be the first, is a staple of the game.

But what other races to be the first at completing something epic should players compete in? My favorite achievement of all time is To All the Squirrels I’ve Loved Before, and the related ones. If ever there was one I was going to plan out and try to finish the moment servers went live, that would be it. Failing that, capturing pets through pet battles. That’s about the extent of what I’m capable of doing while others are focused on the more important parts of the game.

What kinds of activities do you set out to do first? And could you do them before other players? In the world? Or at least first on your realm? Dungeons? Gear sets? PVP? What no longer has — or never had — a Feat of Strength for doing it, but should?

And not just in World of Warcraft. In Hearthstone, there must have been a race to be the first to obtain 500 wins of each class, to have the golden version of that hero. What other accomplishments would you like to be the first to achieve there? Or in Overwatch?
