What’s your #WarcraftStory?

The developer team at World of Warcraft just debuted a new feature where you can get some personalized stats about your Warcraft character. All you have to do is tweet your character’s name, what server you play on, what region you’re in, and include #warcraftstory and @warcraft. It’s super simple and works almost right away!

If done right it’ll look like this

You’ll get some personalized stats about your adventures in Azeroth and a nice little picture of whatever your character is wearing at that moment. The best part is that you can do it as many times in a row as you want, for as many characters as you have! I’ve seen all sorts of stats included like how many raid bosses you’ve defeated, times laughed, or the number of mounts collected. Humorously, I’ve also seen some rather embarrassing ones like how many times you’ve died from falling or fatigue damage. If I were a Druid who had a high number of deaths to falling damage stat I would not want that broadcast.

This is exactly the kind of content that I can’t help but eat up. I love learning random stats about myself, and the games I’m playing (even if some of those stats seem a little off). I saw a few people that must’ve killed every single critter across the world (of Warcraft) at least twice. Which isn’t impossible, but it does require a certain amount of effort and dedication to the cause. I hope that we keep getting fun bits of stuff like this in the future from the social team.

Seeing it go live on the first day was amazing too, a big chunk of my Twitter timeline was just people sharing their stories. It really reminded me that we’re a pretty awesome community to be a part of!

Now it’s your turn. Share your Warcraft story below! Funny, impressive, and everything in between — let’s see ‘em all!
