The Queue: For the bears

We just spent our first night on Mythic Terros progression, and woof there’s a lot of damage happening in that fight!

It’s not that hard mechanically, but the numbers checks are pretty rough. Not to mention the; can your Demon Hunter avoid falling into the big hole in the middle of the room, check. He couldn’t — at least not until the end of the night. We were able to get to 35% but that was always at about half strength and out of gas. Maybe next time we get to him we’ll be able to avoid all of the rocky bits and chisel out a victory.

While I work on getting the gravel out from between my claws, it’s time for — The Queue!

TIGER HAWKE ALL DRESSED UP WITH NOWHERE TO GO

QftQ: For those that do coordinated group content in WoW, what voice chat system do you use?

Almost exclusively Discord for the past X years. However, I do run with some friends who prefer to use the in-game voice system for pugging people into their groups. That way they can still talk to them, but they don’t have to invite them to their personal Discord server.

I haven’t heard about anyone seriously using anything other than Discord in a long long time. Not even the die-hards who were ride-or-die for Ventrilo are still using it. Although I kind of miss Mumble. That was just fun to say.

BIRDWATCHER ROXXII WAITING FOR AN INVITATION TO ARRIVE

Q4TQ: Does Canada have President’s Day?

Show me a Canadian President and I’ll show you when our Presidents day falls.

BIRDWATCHER ROXXII GOIN’ TO A PARTY WHERE NO ONE’S STILL ALIVE

Follow-Up Q4TQ: What is it with Canadians and being guardian druids?

Maybe it speaks to something fundamental in our nature. Canadians do have a special bond with nature and a lot of our famous novels use the man vs wild trope.

Maybe it speaks to us wanting to avoid winter through hibernation.

Or it could just be that Canadians are extra smart and know that the best possible class is a big fuzzy tractor that wants to protect their friends.

JABRONE WAS STRUCK BY LIGHTING, WALKIN’ DOWN THE STREET

What’s your favorite quest line in Dragonflight? (So far…)

Azmerloth by a wide margin I think. I love those wacky fish people.

I also liked helping Wrathion and Sabellian in the Waking Shores. They had a fun bickering chemistry going on. So much so that I hope that they are forced to share the power of the Aspect of the black dragon flight like they’re wearing a big get-along shirt. What’s better than one black dragon aspect? Two!

RJAGODA WAS HIT BY SOMETHING LAST NIGHT IN MY SLEEP

What is your favorite seasonal Affix?

It was the N’zoth one with the Obelisks — Corrupted!

I felt like the extra flexibility that it gave the dungeon routes really helped to make it stand out and change the game in a way that others haven’t. Sure Reaping was mostly a gimme one as long as your tanks remembered that there was about to be a swarm of ghosts, and Encrypted did have the possibility of getting a stealth buff, but neither of those felt as impactful to me.

Especially once groups started getting brave and skipping the obelisks and having to deal with the mini-bosses during the last fight. That was where things really got exciting. There were plenty of close calls and heartbreaking near misses because we figured we could keep the ooze or spider boss up.

Plus it had Darin De Paul talking to you as N’zoth, what’s not to love about that?

RED’S COMIN’, LEAVE YOUR BODY AT THE DOOR

What is the best bear you’ve ever encountered in a game?

Me!

MUSEDMOOSE GOT THEIR BEST SUIT AND TIE WITH SHINY SILVER DOLLAR ON EITHER EYE

1: do you think it’s likely we’ll see another WarCraft movie?
2: do you think WarCraft will ever get picked up for a series on a streaming service?

Oh, that’s a tough one. Hollywood is notoriously risk-averse when it comes to making movies. So the poor performance domestically of the first Warcraft movie might be a bit of a hurdle for them to get over. That being said I just heard that there’s going to be another reboot of Hellboy so who knows!

I do think that it’s more likely we’ll see a streaming service get its hands on a Blizzard property though. With the success of The Last of Us, the Witcher, and Arcane we’ve seen that video-game adaptations can do well in a weekly release style format. The whole Arthas story would make for good tv, but I’d also bet that they could do the Varian and Thrall stories pretty well.

I know I know people are sick of Thrall, but he has good recognition as a main character for the Horde side. It’s less likely we’d get a Garrosh, Saurfang, Sylvanas, or Baine story.

Have another picture of Bacardi to boop for luck! This time with a special guest star in the picture. However, I don’t think that you’ll get any additional luck by booping my nose.
