The Queue: One squashed spider!

We did it!

It was even a mostly clean kill with the bulk of the raid making it up to the final platform — who knew that’s what made it easier to win?! With Sennarth dead there were two more bosses for us to choose from before Broodkeeper Diurna. We could go get blown around by Dathea, or take on a really angry elemental cow.

Of course, we’ve chosen the cow. Dathea is supposedly one of the most awkward and annoying fights out of the whole tier with even Cutting Edge guilds stumbling on her during their re-clears. Kurogg hasn’t even been that bad either. We’ve gotten him to about 30% with just an add phase and a final burn in the cold zone standing between us and 5/8 Mythic. Amazingly the Mythic strategy for him doesn’t even have you splitting the main phase between the elemental zones. You just let him sit and rain all sorts of fiery damage down on your heads while your healers cry. It’s the best kind of Mythic strategy nonsense where you can cut out an entire section of the fight because it’s just not worth it to learn the actual mechanics if you can throw brute force at the problem.

While I try and talk some engineers into making an elemental grounding rod that works for all elements and not just lighting, it’s time for — The Queue!

I got the mount, two-handed axe, and the bear fist. I also saved the pet for next month if there’s nothing there that really strikes my fancy. I don’t even have a class right now that can use the two-handed axe, but I loved how unique it was. I can’t even remember another source for something that looks like it out and about in the game. Of course, this could be one of those situations where there’s apparently a green color version of the Hellreaver polearm that I’m just finding out about today.

It hasn’t existed for that long, since it looks like it just came in with the new Zandalari crafting from Zul’Gurub, but also I want it!

Back to the Trading Post, I didn’t like that this month’s extra reward for filling the bar is swords. I’d hope that in the future the big thing is one of the rewards that everyone could use no matter what class or spec they are.

Lamb chops sound like a great breakfast. Maybe a little more effort than I would go into on an average day though. Usually for breakfast I get a breakfast sandwich from the casino where I work, it’s only six bucks and gives me an excuse to take a little time away from my ‘desk’.

I can’t count how many of them I’ve eaten, but the bartenders do see me coming now and get the order ready…

When I was still playing more of my alts I’d always try and level through the more recent expansions. The Warcraft developers have consistently outdone themselves in making the zones feel more streamlined and fun. I’m not saying there isn’t room for quests that send you halfway across the world to collect some random profession nonsense from a Goblin, but when I’m on my second or third alt that’s not really what I’m looking for.

I bet Dragonflight is going to be great for this too with the inclusion of Dragonriding from jump. Just the speed that you can get around is really going to improve things. Dragonflight might lose its edge though once we can Dragonride in any zone, which I’m sure will be coming any day now…

Things are getting a little fuzzy from back then… but I’m pretty sure that’s what it was. I also have a vague memory of seeing it in theaters more than once, but that could just be me thinking about how many times I watched it on VHS when it was released for home consumption.

This week Bacardi has just been caught going feral over his catnip leaf toy. Somehow he can’t believe that I can see him from how far away I am, silly cat. Make sure that give him a nice boop so that you’ll also have the kind of luck that you just can’t belive. Either that or you’ll wind up going feral over a piece of gear in your vault. It could go either way!
