How to earn A Drake’s Big Basket of Eggs, a new toy for WoW’s Noblegarden holiday
Dragonflight’s first Noblegarden is live in WoW through April 17, and while the holiday is mostly unchanged it brings an egg-citing cosmetic toy specifically for your dragonriding mount: A Drake’s Big Basket of Eggs. The toy costs 200 Noblegarden Chocolates and when active it shows a basket filled with eggs that appears in your drake’s mouth while you’re flying for 15 minutes. During Noblegarden the cooldown to use it is a short three minutes, but once the event ends the cooldown will revert to its normal time — one hour.
To collect all of those chocolates, you’ll have to find Brightly Colored Eggs, and a lot of them. Here’s how to earn 200 Noblegarden Chocolates to get the A Drake’s Big Basket of Eggs toy during Noblegarden.
How to find eggs during Noblegarden
Hidden throughout the starting areas of Azeroth are Brightly Colored Eggs — to find them, look for bright spots of color in corners, behind things, under things, and on top of things. Can’t find any eggs? Be sure you’re in one of the starting areas they spawn in (see below), because Noblegarden eggs won’t be anywhere else. If you see a lot of rabbits hopping around, you’re probably in the right place — just keep looking! Multiple players can loot eggs, and they’ll respawn after a short duration.
You need 200 eggs to get the Big Basket of Eggs toy, which isn’t as daunting as it might seem. Eggs respawn quickly and it’s easy to run laps through the starting area endlessly picking up eggs as you go. To get around as quickly as possible, you may want to do the A Tisket, a Tasket, a Noblegarden Basket quest offered by the Noblegarden vendors in the starting zones — it rewards you with the Eagger Basket toy, which increases your speed by 60% (though you’ll have to use it every 10 seconds to refresh the buff) while you’re in areas with Noblegarden eggs. It makes the process a bit quicker.
But if you aren’t as eager to run around, you can sit in front of an egg spawn point and click when it respawns. It won’t be as fast, but it doesn’t get any simpler.
Here’s where you can find Brightly Colored Eggs during Noblegarden:
Alliance:
Horde:
- Falconwing Square, Eversong Woods
- Razor Hill, Durotar
- Bloodhoof Village, Mulgore
- Brill, Tirisfall Glades
How to get (and spend) Noblegarden Chocolates
Opening Brightly Colored Eggs will reward you with a single Noblegarden Chocolate or sometimes a Noblegarden-themed cosmetic or pet. That means if you want the Drake’s Big Basket of Eggs, you’ll need to pick up somewhat more than 200 Brightly Colored Eggs and break them open for the Noblegarden Chocolate inside. Be warned: the chocolates are edible but they are also the currency you need to buy Noblegarden rewards. If you eat any, you’ll need that many more before you can buy your toy!
Once you have enough chocolate, buying the Drake’s Big Basket of Eggs toy is simple. Each starting zone has a vendor selling Noblegarden items right outside the inn. Just look for your nearest Noblegarden Vendor (Alliance) or Noblegarden Merchant (Horde) to buy your prize once you have enough chocolates. But if you want other Noblegarden rewards, you’ll need even more chocolate (and thus more eggs).
If you’re looking for extra motivation to participate, this month’s Traveler’s Log objective has 450 points tied to completing the certain objectives during Noblegarden. So if you’re looking to complete this month’s Traveler’s Log objectives and earn April Trading Post Arsenal Set or you’re just looking to complete the objectives, Noblegarden is an egg-cellent opportunity!
Remember, Noblegarden only lasts until April 17, so you have a limited amount of time to collect those Noblegarden eggs before they’re gone!
