The Queue: Is it time yet?
Waiting is the worst!
I just want to do the things I want to do right now without having to wait for them. Is that so much to ask for? When will then be now!
While I figure that out, it’s time for — The Queue!
Q4tQ:
Ok, I shut up and waited until April. It’s April. When do you think BlizzCon news is coming? And do you plan to attend?
It’s weird right!? You’d think they would’ve announced it by now, but I went back and checked when the last in-person BlizzCon was announced and it turns out it wasn’t until April 25. So we’re still not quite there yet.
I hope it’s soon though! If only to give people the most amount of opportunity to get their tickets and accommodations sorted out. Also, organizations who like to do events like Con Before the Storm and guilds planning meet-ups need the maximum amount of time possible for planning.
I’m going to try and attend, the last one was really fun and it’d be great to see my friends in California again. I also wanna get my hands on whatever shiny new Diablo 4 stuff they’ll likely announce by then.
My Q4U: What’s a frequent (weekly, daily) offline habit you adopted from the internet?
That’s a tough one. There are a number of slang words that were internet words that I picked up. Most of which follow the usual pattern of this word is dumb, I’m just going to say it ironically, oops now I can’t stop saying it. Heck, doggo, and pupper are the ones that leap to the tip of my brain right now.
Sometimes I take pictures of my food now too.
QftQ: What’s been the worst case of earworming yourself so far?
All of my earworms are my babies and I love them each equally.
I do remember that Welcome to the Black Parade managed to hang on for a long time though. As with all of the best earworms it has an easy-to-sing part so you can get through most of it yourself. Over and over and over again…
Q4tQ: Do you have a pokemon recommendation for a soon to be 5 year old for the switch or xbox?
Pokemon Snap!
It’s so cute how could they not like it! You also don’t have to worry about getting upset at not being able to beat a trainer or having one of your Pokemon faint. Just take more cute pictures of Ratata and try again.
Who would be more likely to win a swimming contest, a Tuskarr or a Pandaren?
I’m going to give it to the Tuskarr. Not just because they’re walrus people and should be right at home in the water, but because the Pandaren probably just ate and we all know you shouldn’t go swimming right after eating. I know that the Tuskarr have a nice community feast going on but that’s soup, hardly as heavy as some of the Pandaren cuisine we helped make back in Mists of Pandaria.
Q4tQ – Blizzard like building genre defining games – what’s a genre they don’t already have a game in that you’d like to see them tackle?
I’d like a really good flippy zippy third-person action game. I’ve been playing a little bit of Forspoken recently and that has just been scratching my itch for the kind of combat where you’re bouncing all over the place doing cool dodges and launching magic at people. So let me do that with a neat Blizzard overlay. Definitely, something more Devil May Cry than Dark Souls.
When they’re done well they’re some of my favorite games.
As always I would also accept a kart racing-style game that pulls characters from all of the Blizzard universes like Heroes of the Storm did.
Here’s a nice gamer cat to boop for good gamer luck. You’ll surely get that bit of shiny loot that you’ve been after if you do! Just don’t pay attention to the fact that his controller isn’t even on… No way he’s one of those fake gamer cats.
