How to get the new Ethereal Transmogrifier toy from the WoW August Trading Post — ending soon!
The World of Warcraft Trading Post has some fun rewards in August and some pretty easy ways of collecting the Tenders you need to purchase them. There is one new item available this month that every serious transmog aficionado will want to get their hands on asap: the Ethereal Transmogrifier. This toy summons an Ethereal Warpweaver for 10 minutes to serve all your transmog needs regardless of your location — no more needing to be outdoors to use your Grand Expedition Yak or relying on consumable Engineering toys.
Acquiring your new favorite toy is as simple as visiting the Trading Post in your faction capital and paying 500 tenders for it. As you get 500 just for logging in for the month you’ll be able to pick it up as soon as you arrive. However, if you’ve already spent your Tenders for the month before realizing what the toy was — perhaps you thought it was another version of the Transmorpher Beacon — you can speak with the Trading Post NPC to put it on freeze until next month.
You’ll find the Ethereal Transmogrifier in your Toy Collections tab. Since you just purchased it the page where it’s located should automatically display when you open the collection. You can right-click to make it a favorite, or drag it down to your action bars. When summoned the Ethereal Warpweaver will remain in place for 10 minutes, so be sure you’re somewhere you won’t be disturbed because unlike the Grand Expedition Yak you can’t continuously mount and dismount to gain access to transmogrification. On the plus side, the cooldown for the toy is equal to its uptime so every 10 minutes you can resummon if you want to spend more time working on your appearance.
While not the most game-breaking item added in Dragonflight this is definitely the one I’ll end up using the most. While I’m sure the Grand Expedition Yak will still get plenty of use — being able to vendor items is a key bonus to that mount — not having to find an outdoor location means I can stay in an inn or any dungeon I find my character in and get to work making sure they look their best.
