How to get the Day of the Dead Armor for your Dragonriding mount

It’s the Day of the Dead in World of Warcraft and your Dragonriding mount is ready to enjoy the festivities with their own special Day of the Dead Armor. Since it’s only available for two days — and the Day of the Dead doesn’t have a special currency to obtain like Brewfest or Love is in the Air — the Day of the Dead Armor for your Cliffside Wylderdrake can be purchased with gold. Just head to any of the faction graveyards once the festivities have started and share a /dance with Catrina to partake. Once you’re suitably attired you can purchase the Cliffside Wylderdrake: Day of the Dead Armor manuscript from Chapman for 50,000 gold.

Chapman is the Day of the Dead vendor and he is located in all of the original races’ (including Blood Elves and Draenei) capital city graveyards. Besides the armor manuscript he also sells the Bread of the Dead recipe, the Contender outfit toys, and the Whimsical Skull Mask and Bouquet of Orange Marigolds cosmetic appearances, so be sure to pick those up when you visit.

The Day of the Dead Armor is account-wide so you only need to purchase and learn it once, although it’s important to note that the only Dragonriding mount that can equip it is the Cliffside Wylderdrake — if you were hoping to honor the dead on your Renewed Proto-Drake or the Flourishing Whimsydrake arriving in patch 10.2 you’re sadly out of luck. To switch to this armor appearance head to your nearest Rostum of Transformation, select the Cliffside Wylderdrake’s body customizations, make sure Armor is on and select the Day of the Dead Armor.

Even though it’s only available to purchase two days a year, the Day of the Dead Armor can be equipped on your Cliffside Wylderdrake for the entire year. So be sure to dig up some gold and head to a graveyard to make sure you can respect the dead while cruising through the Dragon Isles.
