Patch 10.2

When the Dragonflight patch 10.2 PTR first went live for testing, it gave players a preview of all the new things players could look forward to in the Emerald Dream but hidden among the then-new patch content was the tease of new dragonriding races in old-world Azeroth coming in 2024, building upon on the previously held Kalimdor Cup and Eastern Kingdoms Cup.

We're trucking along with patch 10.2 and the Defenders of the Dream storyline.

Along with the opening of Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope in Season 3 of Dragonflight, a new World Boss named Aurostor the Hibernator will spawn in the Emerald Dream each week.

World of Warcraft patch 10.2 is now live, and the new raid instance, Amirdrassil, The Dream's Hope, will be opening very soon.

The Emerald Dream is now live with Dragonflight patch 10.2 and will be our main setting for the new story quests, raid, public events, and more.

Each season of Mythic+ has started bringing new dungeons with it, and Dragonflight patch 10.2 will be no different with a refreshed Mythic+ rotation that's a mix of a little new but mostly old.

With the release of World of Warcraft patch 10.2, we've ventured into the Emerald Dream -- and as we've come to expect, with a new zone comes new Dragonriding Glyphs, abilities, and achievements.

Dragonflight patch 10.2 goes live today, November 7, but Dragonflight Season 3 won't start immediately.
