The Queue: Only green trees allowed

A bear in front of a boss? That can only mean one thing, I have my first Mythic kill of the raid! Well ok, it could also mean other things, but that’s what it means this time!

As with most of the recent raid tiers, we still don’t have our Ahead of the Curve, because Mythic Gnarlroot is easier than Heroic Fyrakk — not for lack of trying! We got close-ish on Fyrakk a couple of times, but the Seed mechanics in the final phase aren’t something that we’ve practiced much on Normal because he keeps dying before we have to actually do them. I know, I know, that’s a total champagne problem right there. Still, I’m sure we’ll get him soon! Then we can start working on all the other fun Mythic bosses in the raid! I’m not dreading any of them too much, but Smoldy is probably the limit of our skills.

While I invest in more fire-proof underwear, it’s time for — The Queue!

WELL, I’M RUNNING DOWN THE ROAD TRYIN’ TO LOOSEN MY LOAD I’VE GOT SEVEN NULGAR ON MY MIND

Question for the crowd: what’s the threshold for Seeds to grant Dreamwarden reputation? Do I have to contribute a certain amount, or does the overall progress have to reach a certain point? Sometimes the Seeds Weekly is at 5/5 and I only got rep from one, leaving me about 2 Seeds or some WQs short of the 1500 rep weekly.

You’ll need to contribute enough Dewdrops to the seed to get to at least 50/100 for the rep items to show up. Once you’ve done that you’ll only get big rep items from the first five seeds that reach that threshold — after that you’re stuck getting just five rep from the seed.

“Dream Wardens reputation from Emerald Dewdrop contributions into Medium and Large Emerald Blooms during Emerald Bounty now reward a large amount of reputation with the first five each week.”

Which was put into place the second day of the Patch to stop people from burning themselves out on seeds to try and max out their reputation as fast as possible. Which mostly worked, but World First raiders still wound up planting an uncountable number of seeds to get as high as possible.

DON’T LET THE SOUND OF YOUR OWN KALCHEUS MAKE YOU CRAZY

Q4tQ So what are the fastest ways of getting to the Greench this year?

If you can move to a town full of Gnomes to be really obnoxious about how much they love Winter’s Veil — he’ll come to you!

Otherwise, I think it might actually be the Teleport to Ancient Dalaran that I mentioned last week. Just make sure that you have a glider ready…

JALAMENOS THE BLUE BARON WE MAY LOSE, AND WE MAY WIN

Q4tQ: Is there a particular flying mount you’re looking forward to using once it gets Dynamic Flight?

Any of the weird Goblin Shredder or G.M.O.D chassis style mounts. I want to see what they do with the wildly different way of flying they have compared to the others. Will we still see the big loops and flight path that I can only describe as loosey-goosey, or will it be normalized to be like all of the others?

I hope not! I want them to still be weird, especially considering how much of a pain in the butt they can be to get. I also hope that the Sky-Golem can still pick flowers for my non-Druid characters.

THOUGH WE WILL NEVER BE JALAMENOS THE BLUE BARON AGAIN

Since Spirit Healers are a canon thing, where does that leave the skeletons we leave behind when reclaiming our corpse?
Could we just become an endless supply of bones.
There’s profit to be made here!

Maybe they jam us back into our original bodies and work a little healing magic to get us back on our feet, no matter how many smithereens we’ve been blown into. It would certainly explain why you have ten minutes of feeling awful after you choose to resurrect at them, your skeleton has to hump it all the way back to the healer and without you in control who knows what sort of nonsense it walked into.

That’d certainly explain why we don’t have piles of bones all over the world. Or why everything isn’t just made of bones… It’d be pretty nice to go and build an addition onto your house though if you knew it’d just take jumping to your death 50 times and you’d have enough bones to build a rec room.

I was about to dispute that there’s any profit to be made by selling bones, but then I remembered that often the grey items we sell to vendors are some kind of bone, and if they’re buying those bones why not ours?! Of course, we don’t necessarily need to be dying to provide some of our bones, just bring a healer along with you and keep cutting off your own arm! Unless healers just let us reattach parts back onto ourselves…

There are a lot of unknowns here and I think I’ll just keep trying to get some fancy cobra scales to fund my phial habit.

Today’s Anna Earworm™: Take it Easy

Have an excellent week everyone! Next week is Christmas so who knows what’ll happen here! In the meantime leave lots of questions for everyone else to answer.
